What is an invisible watermark?
Some writing tools insert invisible Unicode characters into the text (zero-width spaces, variation selectors, “tag characters”) or a distinctive typography (em dashes, thin spaces). These marks can identify the tool used, or even make a document traceable. Veritext detects and removes them.
Why rewrite as well as clean?
Beyond hidden characters, the style itself (turns of phrase, rhythm, vocabulary) can betray the tool or the author. Rewriting neutralises these stylistic signatures while preserving the meaning.
Where is my text processed?
Cleaning happens directly in your browser. Rewriting is performed by an AI model operated by Infomaniak in its Swiss data centres. Your text never leaves the country and is never stored.
Is cleaning really free?
Yes, cleaning is free and unlimited. AI rewriting is free for a few tries per day; beyond that, credit packs are available, payable by TWINT or card.
Do I need an account?
Not to clean and try rewriting. An account (just an email address, no password) is only needed to buy and use credits.
